Francis Josepph

Francis Josepph is a drug user activist who has been working on the health and human rights of people who use drugs in the Asian region for almost two decades. He has extensively worked in the field of HIV prevention, care, and support for people who use and inject drugs. A Harm Reduction specialist and a researcher by training, Francis started working in the streets of New Delhi, India as a Peer Worker distributing N/S in the early 2000s and later got involved in various national and regional level Harm Reduction programs. He has since been working towards facilitating access to HIV, Harm Reduction, and Viral Hepatitis services for people who use drugs in Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. He is currently working on advocating Drug Policy advocacy in Asia
